Wineries discover ways to use it for personalized marketing

The number of people who traveled to Duplin Winerys homepage via Facebook increased 683% in recent months, according to Christy Farrelly, who leads the North Carolina winery’s marketing campaign. Boasting nearly 5,000 Facebook fans, the Muscadine specialists presence on the social networking site has one of the largest followings of any winery.
Duplin, the largest and oldest winery in the South and producers of Americas premier Muscadine wines, has been named the official wine of the North Carolina Barbecue Society.
