Duplin Winery’s 42nd Annual Grape Stomp @ Duplin Winery's Vineyards

For over 41 years, the friends and family at Duplin Winery have stomped grapes. Once to make wine and now just for fun! Join them for their 42nd Annual Grape stomp celebration on Saturday, September 8th from 1pm to 6pm. There will be live music you can dance to, exclusive wine tastings and a grape stomping contest. Festival-goers get a chance to stomp grapes with their bare feet and the best ones will have an opportunity to participate in a stomp off for a Duplin prize!

Throughout the afternoon, special vineyard, production facility tours and exclusive wine tastings are available for attendees. The tastings fill up quickly, so make sure to purchase your wine tasting in advance.

The Bistro Restaurant will be open on a first come first serve basis with extended hours, as well as have a food tent at the festival.

Bring your friends and family to this fun evening in Rose Hill, NC! Don’t forget your chairs for your own comfort but most of all, don’t forget your dancing shoes so you can get your shag on!

Add exclusive wine tasting for an additional $10.00.

Gates open at 10 am and the festival will include wineries, arts and crafts vendors, food, and live performances by The Carolina Band, Spare Change, and Summerdaze. Your ticket entry gives you access to these amazing bands, unlimited tasting from over 20 wineries,  and a commemorative wine glass.

No evening is more intriguing than spending an evening of murder among friends. Piece together the clues of the case in the interactive detective dinner show.

Start the day by adding an additional $5 tour and a comprehensive wine tasting as the stage gets set for murder. Throughout the evening, and over the course of the meal, clues are provided to the guests. Working in groups, the winning team receives a Duplin Prize.

History from the Grave @ Liberty Hall

Liberty Hall Restoration is planning a most unusual outside tour October 27th from 6:30 – 9:00 PM. 

Following a guide, one can stroll thru the yard visiting with members of the Kenanvfamily and visitors dating from 1736 until 1906 when the house was closed up at Annie Kenan’s death. A new group of ghost are waiting to tell you about their life at Liberty Hall. $5.00 per person (TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE EVENT)

98th Annual Veterans Day Celebration @ Downtown Warsaw

The oldest consecutive Veterans Day Parade in America.  This year, the 98th  consecutive parade will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018.

9 am until: Food & Craft vendors, helicopter rides, and more

10 am: VFW Memorial Services at Veteran’s Park

11 am: Fly Over / Special Forces Parachute Jump and the Parade begins

12 pm: BBQ lunch at Warsaw VFD Downtown Fire Station

1 – 4 pm: Visit the Duplin County Veterans Museum on East Hill Street, Truck Show, fun and entertainment for the whole family

Ann’s Art Class at Duplin Winery @ Duplin Winery

Join Duplin Winery’s resident artist, Ann Farrior, in an interactive art class. Ann will provide guidance and instruction, and you provide your personal touch. This event includes all the materials needed to create your craft, lunch provided by The Bistro and a glass of wine. No experience needed. Seating is limited.
