Murder Mystery Show @ Duplin Winery

No evening is more intriguing than spending an evening of murder among friends. Piece together the clues of the case in the interactive detective dinner show.

Start the day by adding an additional $5 tour and a comprehensive wine tasting as the stage gets set for murder. Throughout the evening, and over the course of the meal, clues are provided to the guests. Working in groups, the winning team receives a Duplin Prize.

History from the Grave @ Liberty Hall

Liberty Hall Restoration is planning a most unusual outside tour October 27th from 6:30 – 9:00 PM. 

Following a guide, one can stroll thru the yard visiting with members of the Kenanvfamily and visitors dating from 1736 until 1906 when the house was closed up at Annie Kenan’s death. A new group of ghost are waiting to tell you about their life at Liberty Hall. $5.00 per person (TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE EVENT)

Hanneford Circus @ Duplin County Events Center

The world-reowned Royal Hanneford Circus is coming to Kenansville, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief efforts in Duplin County.  The group will perform two shows at the Duplin County Events Center on Sunday, October 28th, at 2pm and 6pm. Family passes for adults and four children are available for $42. Adult admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 3-12.

10 am: VFW Memorial Services at Veteran’s Park

11 am: Fly Over / Special Forces Parachute Jump and the Parade begins

12 pm: BBQ lunch at Warsaw VFD Downtown Fire Station

1 – 4 pm: Visit the Duplin County Veterans Museum on East Hill Street, Truck Show, fun and entertainment for the whole family

Liberty Hall’s Candlelight Tour @ Liberty Hall

For two nights only, visitors can take a journey back in time with period-costumed guides giving tours through the decorated restored Greek revival house and grounds, special holiday music, and refreshments made from original Kenan family recipes. Call Liberty Hall to make reservations.
