The museum features an 1830s dogtrot style house, completely furnished to that period. Nine other vintage farm buildings containing over 850 artifacts from the past and a country store structure (c. 1925) are part of the offerings. In The Red Farmstead Cheese 2185 Lyman Road, Chinquapin 910.285.8089 The Bingham familys wall of honor includes show ribbons from their goats, and a dairy license for their herd. The cheese and meat products are sold under the name of In The Red Farmstead Cheese. Most of their cheese products are sold in a feta-style consistency. The cheese products are sold mostly off-site in places like state farmers markets, but also include local outlets such as at the gift shop of the Country Squire Restaurant. Dairy visits and product sales should be scheduled in advance as the Bingham family does not have established business hours at their farm operation.

Cottle Farms nursery operations grow 14 million strawberry plants that they utilize in their operation or sell to other strawberry growers. When the berries are ripe, Cottle Farms opens its fields in Faison for school field trips.
