Some of the region`s top pitmasters are heading to Duplin County to compete in the Whole Hog Barbecue Series, a sanctioned competition recognized by the NC Pork Council. With 20 cook teams firing up their pits, the competition will be fierce and the aroma will be unforgettable! 🔥🏆
While the teams battle for bragging rights and a chance at the championship, festival guests can enjoy the delicious results. 😋
🌟 BBQ sandwiches will be available for purchase throughout the festival, featuring mixed pork from the competing teams and topped with classic Eastern North Carolina vinegar-based sauce.
