If you haven’t visited, coming to one of our festivals is a great way to get a flavor for what we are all about – sweet wine, great food, strawberries, North Carolina barbeque and the wonderful people who live in our small Eastern North Carolina towns. A Taste of Duplin & More

Delight your taste buds, visit with old friends, make new friends, and experience your Duplin County like never before. A Taste of Duplin & More offers the unique opportunity to experience Duplin County for the first time, again!
This event is created by Uncork Duplin County, Duplin County’s Tourism Development Authority. Our event is focused on creating a refreshing, fun and relaxed atmosphere while highlighting everything that makes Duplin County a great place to live and visit. A Taste of Duplin & More is designed to promote and position Duplin County businesses and the Duplin County Events Center as local tourism destinations.

Carolina Strawberry Festival
Friday, May 3rd – 6 PM to 11 PM and Saturday, May 4th – 10 AM to 11 PM
The Carolina Strawberry Festival is an annual event in Downtown Wallace. Whether you are a visitor or a local, it’s a great time to get out and enjoy a great time in Eastern NC. Both Friday and Saturday nights will include live music and entertainment including Band of Oz, Train Wreck, Heartsong Tribal, the Catalinas and more. Enjoy dancing, a beer & wine garden, food and craft vendors, Dakotah & Friends Dinosaurs, kids activities, locally grown strawberries and more!
