Did you know Beach Brew & Que is an official stop on the Whole Hog Barbecue Series?

From March through September, top pitmasters from North Carolina and Virginia compete in sanctioned whole hog cooking contests — and Duplin County’s Beach Brew & Que Festival is proud to be one of them.

BBQ teams will compete at our festival for a chance to qualify for the Whole Hog Barbecue Championship in October.

🏆 Competition Prizes
🥇 First Place – $1,000
🥈 Second Place – $800
🥉 Third Place – $600

All contests are sanctioned by the North Carolina Pork Council, celebrating the tradition and artistry of whole hog barbecue.
