As the oldest and largest winery in the south, Duplin Winery has been producing award-winning wines for nearly half a century. Take a free tour of the winery and then sit down for Deluxe Wine Tasting. You’ll sample 10 wines, including a wine slushie, rate each wine on a keepsake tasting sheet and enjoy delicious homemade Duplin Gourmet crackers and the winery’s famous cheese dip, all for $12. It’s the perfect way to get the entire experience at Duplin Winery. Browse the gift shop featuring Duplin Gourmet foods, homemade fudge and distinctive gifts. Plan delicious pairings at The Bistro restaurant, home to Chef Bert’s awesome half-pound Angus burgers and Chef Tabatha’s beloved cheesecake. Dinner shows, Girls Nights Out, Fudge & Wine pairings and on-site family events are among outstanding things to do throughout the year. Reservations are recommended for dining at The Bistro. Tickets are required for most events. Reunions, receptions, weddings, business meetings and private parties are welcome to book the winery, The Bistro or the gorgeous Chapel Event Center at Duplin’s Vineyards. PRODUCTION TOURS: Head to the winery’s retail room to book a tour time. After you have signed up for a Duplin Winery tour, a staff member will guide you to the nearby Duplin production area. From the crushing pad to the bottling line, guests will learn how Duplin wines are crafted. The 30-minute tour includes some walking and stops. Call ahead to find out if tours are available the day you plan to visit. If they are, the first one happens at 11 a.m., followed by a tour at the top of every hour. The last tour of the day is two hours prior to closing. Wear comfortable shoes! Monday - Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Last wine tasting is 1 hour prior to closing.
