Attention Eastern North Carolina, here is your chance to mingle and network with industry professionals and enjoy some of Duplin County’s finest attractions. The 2011 Tourism Mini-Summit is being held March 2 at River Landing Country Club. This event will consist of educational sessions with topics such as eco-tourism, sports marketing, attracting retirees, the Hertitage Tourism Project, film industry, and the gated community of River Landing.
Along with the mini-summit, there are other activities slated around the event. The night before, Duplin Winery will be holding a wine tasting. Immediately following the mini-summit, River Landing’s chef will be preparing a buffet of fresh seafood and Southern Cuisine. After lunch, choose one of three complimentary events of Buckner Hill Plantation/Liberty Hall Plantation tours, Country Squire/Duplin wine tastings, or a tour of the River Landing grounds. At your own leisure, enjoy a round of golf on River Landing’s award-winning course for a special discounted rate.
